Hello,

This can be caused by many things, in general we have no problems with any other users at present, the network is running fine.

I would suggest you open a support ticket here https://torguard.net/submitticket.php with more details about your problem rather than assume all of TorGuard is down since your torrents are not working.

Regards

I'm having problems with all servers it seems. New York seems to be the best one, though Toronto should be. I'm getting 5Mbps or less on that one at the moment. New York anywhere from ~20-100Mbps depending on time of day. I have a 120Mbit connection in Montreal and on speedtest.net I'm getting ~132 without a VPN connected. I've tried NY, Toronto and even Vancouver, but Toronto is the worst connection at just over 5, Vancouver a close second at only 22Mbps and New York at the moment is around 40. I've used the VPN client, and open VPN configs in my router. All are transferring at roughly the same relative speeds no matter how I connect.

Hey there

We expect speeds on your router to be much slower through a VPN, due to processing power of the units.

When connecting via desktop - are you using a cipher such as AES-128-CBC/SHA1 via UDP ? i would give this ago and see how that works out for you.
