How to setup DD-WRT

Question

Hi everyone,

I just got this working with my service thanks to admin... Here is a great walkthrough on setting this up step by step:

http://torguard.net/knowledgebase.php?action=displayarticle&id=47

The hardest part was updating the router, but even that didn't take too long. The whole ordeal took me about an hour from start to finish. Now I can use all my devices on the VPN through, ie - laptop, tablet, ps3, desktop.. :)

Thanks guys..

Hey guys

Can you post any logs for us, enable the server daemon then try connect, it should produce some log files for us. Copy them and post them here.

Also can you confirm what method you guys are trying to use, scripts or manual setup ?

Thanks

I setup open vpn on a dd-wrt router according to the instructions. It must be working as I get a different country when checking my ip address. However when checking status/open vpn on the router settings it is blank. Is this a cause for concern?

Hello Larry

If you setup the VPN on the router using our instructions and sites such as whatsmyip.org report the IP you have set then yes it sounds like its working perfectly fine.

Don't worry about the status.

Regards

I have followed the instruction on the guide and have the similar issues that the state is blank.

The VPN works from a windows machine so i know my login details are correct.

Any help is appreciated.

the log file is as follows:
