Are the Vpn's firewalled by Torguard

Rate this question

Are the vpn connections firewalled? I use an asus router with merlin firmware and I was reading the snb forums and came across a post in which the merlin firmware developer indicates that once the vpn connection is established, the router no longer provides any firewall to the devices routed through the vpn. Does Torguard firewall the vpn connections? Here is the link to the thread, second post down http://www.snbforums.com/threads/using-policy-based-routing-do-i-have-a-firewall.31257/

By default TorGuard blocks all incoming connections unless you specifically ask to have a port opened so this would not be of any concern.
