[uTorrent] "Not connectable" with proxy

Using the Sock5 proxy and set it up exactly as it shows on the site.

Will I always show up as not connectable behind a Sock5 proxy? How does this effect seeding?

In uTorrent, on the connection tab under "Listening Port" I generated a random port number to be used for incoming connections. Do I need to have that port forwarded in my router, or is it not required? I was under the impression that I shouldn't have any ports forwarded in my router if I'm using a proxy or VPN (I'm only using a proxy), but I wasn't 100% sure.

Thanks for any help with this.
