Server IP Addresses

Question

Stumped

Chaps,

I've been using server address 93.174.93.224 for the last week and, up to today, it's been working OK.

I have 93.174.93.224 set in uTorrent Connection prefs. and properly cleared through local firewall.

Today uTorrent wont astablish DHT and all trackers time out.

Is there a problem with the server?

Is there an up-to-date server IP address list anywhere?

Please let me know.

Hello there - sorry for the delay, the server is now up and running, i believe earlier today and last night the server was running a bit sluggish, its now been fixed.

We recommend you use the hostname listed under the server status page https://torguard.net/serverstatus.php

Or use the hostname an IP's from our proxy app.

Regards

Thanks for the reply.

Yes, the server did seem to liven up a bit later on yesterday.

Hostnames don't work too well for me, adding IPs is a PITA but at least I end up with a working, secure configuration.

Is there an up-to-date server IP address list anywhere?

Thanks.

I also miss being able to consult a list of IP addresses.  Host name lookup is often not very reliable for me, and I need a Canadian web proxy.  Without a list, I can't find one and the ca.torguardvpnaccess.com host name isn't working (though it did yesterday).

Agree with the above posters. I want the list of ip addresses back. Why did they do away with them in the first place? Can we get them back please?

This is happening to me as well. Have been using the IP addresses for around 2 years now - yesterday torrents were not connecting to peers and DHT was waiting to log in continuously. Went to find a new IP address from the list as I assumed the host was down - couldn't find the list and could only find instructions to use proxy.torguard.org, and now nothing works. No connection. Checkmyip is showing proxy connect error: offline (timed out), or connection closed by peer.

Any suggestions?

Whats the difference between HTTP proxies and Socks5? Right now I believe I'm using socks5 in Utorrent. Man this stuff gets confusing!

Chaps,

Exactly the same problem again.

Please advise and please let us have an up-to-date Socks server IP address list.

Ta.
