I'm currently in the UK, trying to stream some content in the US.  I'm connected to a US server, and dnsleaktest.com shows all my connections are US based.  Somehow, ABC still identifies me as outside the US.  I cleared my browser cache, restarted, even changed my timezone and language on my laptop.  Still no luck.

Fox seems to be working OK...

Any ideas what I might be missing?

Thanks

Unfortunately I'm no further forward.  I tried using the OpenDNS servers, (I was using google's previously), and I've followed the instructions to disable geolocation...

Any other thoughts?

Thanks for your assistance.

Just used an ubuntu VM which worked fine this evening, so the issue must be windows specific.  I'm using Windows 8.1.  Any other ideas what might be giving up my location?

this may not help the OP with the dns leak problem but...

i noticed my ip could be leaked while on VPN if i didn't make this change withing FF and chrome. i was really surprised when this showed up: i noticed the the tor browser already had this fix in place.

you can test with this:

    https://diafygi.github.io/webrtc-ips/

you can fix via this simple config info:

The TG Lite app now fixes the webrtc issues so your IP will not leak via this vuln any longer.
