KSmith 0
http://torrentfreak.com/canadian-isps-vpns-now-alert-pirating-customers-150102/ I am wondering how this affects TorGuard customers. Should I advoid the Canada connections? If I do, will my use not be logged? (since I'm logging into a different country) Please let us know what this means for us! (sorry for the cross post...) Support 257
Hello, this does not affect TorGuard, it only affects companies/ISP's who are based in Canada. TorGuard s not based in Canada. Regards
Ace Mcool 0
hmm I too fall into this catagory. Maybe I should be looking at your torguard encpryted email service as well? Ace Mcool Edit. Is it likely that an ISP could still be aware of the contents of the VPN traffic? (I only DL Movies that are run at your local movie theater.) And is there anything else I can do about encrpyting the taffic? Thx
Mrburrito 0
So using a server based in canada is no problem?
yIgD2 1
Hello, this does not affect TorGuard, it only affects companies/ISP's who are based in Canada. TorGuard s not based in Canada. Regards & what @Mrburrito wrote "So using a server based in canada is no problem?" @staff, i read another post by @staff where your servers in canada are not accessed by anyone but you, is that what you mean by "this does not affect TorGuard?" that is you have servers there but your co. isn't based/reg there so your servers are (safe) there?
