Viscosity not launching

Rate this question

Question

lll4ever

So, I was having issues with Viscosity updates so I uninstalled it. After I downloaded TorGuard VPN Pro (Viscosity), the application that shows up is TorGuard, not Viscosity. When I move the app to my application folder, it won't launch. I had already disabled the previous license for Viscosity and generated another one although I haven't even gotten to the point of it asking me for the license. I am running Mac OSX 10.6.8 (Snow Leopard). I know TorGuard VPN Lite doesn't work with OSX 10.6 but there was not mention of Viscosity not working with it. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Nevermind, I got an answer. Snow Leopard is the problem!

Hello - yes 10.6.8 requires an older vulnerable version of openvpn that we don't support.
