Question

I am trying to figure out the most secure settings for proxy through deluge. What do I have to keep enabled?

- Upnp

- NAT-UTP

- Peer Exchange

- LSD

- DHT

Also, if proxy fails, does deluge stay and transmits your real ip or just freezes?

you have to use your tg proxy in all this sections(Peer, Web Seed, Tracker, DHT). if the connection to proxy fails, you have no more connection to trackers and your real ip is still protected.

in private trackers like torrentday, hdbits etc. , please disable Peer Exchange, LSD and DHT

Thanks for the explanation Kemalettin T. - as explained, proxy all sections in Deluge, if your proxy failed or the proxy went down for whatever reason your IP cannot be leaked until you manually remove the proxy settings yourself.

Please also bare in mind some version of Deluge have issues with UDP due to libtorrent - try make sure your using the latest version of lib torrent if possible.

Regards
