Torguard lite IP detection

Rate this question

Question

Guest

Hi,

Using torguard lite there is a feature which detects your IP to check it has changed. This doesn't seem to work for me, and when I went into the settings, the address it is requesting to detect the IP displays a php error. Is this something you are fixing?

Thanks!

Hey there - it won't affect your VPN connection at all in anyway but yes we will fix this ASAP.

Btw what URL do you see under settings for the IP check script ?

This is the error I get when visiting that page:

Notice: Trying to get property of non-object in /usr/local/apache/htdocs/detect.php on line 5

My IP is also undetected. I've confirmed that the IP has changed (is now 162.219.178.10) and that IP shows in the tracker window for the fake torrent. I've tried changing the DNS to static (the 184.75.xx.xx / 89.248.xx.xx pair) but IP is still undetected. While the VPN seems to be working the little red cloud in the task bar is irksome. Any fix yet?

Hey guys - can you check to see if this is working ok now ?

It wont affect security or vpn connection. We will be ditching tg lite once our new app is ready to go very soon.

Cheers
