@GlitchNet Yeah, that's about a different thing, more details about those rules can be found here, VPNs were not included in those rules. There were demands to "block VPNs" in India since late 2021, and now the new rules will come into effect later this month. ExpressVPN and Surfshark, have already made it clear that they are shutting down the physical servers, and will instead use virtual servers, located in Singapore or the UK, to provide Indian IP to their users.

Created a ticket to get an answer, this is what they told me:

We are currently moving toward a virtual India location to overcome this new change in India. This change is in the process now, servers are I believe already removed from the app and will be decommissioned within the next few days.
