Question

The latest version of Torguard crashes immediately on start, with no error. I have uninstalled and reinstalled it, and the problem persists. Windows Event Viewer logs 2 reports for each crash. What should I do?

Hey @jrt3a

If i am Not Mistaken the Logs you Posted Above Indicate it may be Related to "" Faulting module name: nvwgf2um.dll ""

I Believe That is Related to Nvidia Graphics Drivers in some way, Assuming you are Using the Torguard "Modern" Theme which I believe Is the Default Theme it Could Possibly Be Related as i think the Newer Modern Theme Has More Dependencies as Apposed to the Classic one.

You Mention that Torguard Crashes Immediately After Opening so You Won't Be Able to Easily Change These to test - However you Can Change Theme In Registry First Close Torguard Completely if Not Already Then >>

Navigate to> Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\VPNetworkLLC\TorGuard\preferences

Once in the Preferences Folder Navigate to "showTheme" Right Click showTheme and Choose Modify and Under "Value Data" it will Either say 1 or 2. So For Example if it is Currently Set to 2 Then try Changing it to 1.

After That Try Launching Torguard and See if it will Launch using the Old "Classic" Theme. If it Still Wont Work Then I would Suggest Contacting Torguard Support Directly! Here >> https://torguard.net/submitticket.php

Thanks. I changed that registry value from 2 to 1, but got the same result. I'll file a ticket.
