WireGuard port forwarding - Incoming IP address

Rate this question

Go to solution Solved by Support,

I just saw that Wireguard is now available on every TG VPN endpoint, so I configured a linux machine as a client and it works really well, with great speeds.

One detail that bothers me is that when using WG and port forwarding, the incoming IP address is always shown as a peer from the WG adapter's virtual network (10.x.x.x)
instead of the actual IP address of the remote client.

I know that TG OpenVPN does that same thing, but OpenConnect always reveals the actual IP address of incoming remote clients.

I'd really like to be able to tell apart the incoming clients based on their IP addresses, so is this something that I can fix on my end or is it VPN solution/software specific
or does it depend on the firewall/NAT configuration on Torguard's end?
