I do not Agree. The battery issue has not been resolved.

In future updates, maybe you should consider hiding the “Sign up” button in the TG app settings or something? I don’t like the fact that I accidently hit on “Sign up” when I try to connect sometimes.

Confirming that the battery drainage is not fixed. Phone was empty overnight and also just now after a few hours from being at about 60%.

Please note that it always seems to happen when the phone is idle.

Also, the app again used cellular data. This time luckily only about 50mb in a week. This too seems to happen when the phone is idle, because I am not seeing data usage while actively surfing outside of my home network.

If taking a wild guess I'd say that the app is constantly reconnecting to the server while the phone is idle.

We are looking more into the battery issues - we see less reports about this issue after the last release, those have reduced to just a few so we are still trying to determine the cause.

In regards to excess data we have also seen this, not as much as some users have reported but enough to indicate an issue with the configs, we are on it and will resolve very soon.

Regards

I have not been able to sign in, in the iOS app, the last couple of days.

I can still use the VPN, using my credentials, but cannot sign in.
It simply times out - “request failed: gateway timed out (504)”.

Problem is the same, whether I use WiFi or cellular connnection.

Everyone else with same problem?

We have a small issue with a firewall. we are working on it, if you get an error request 503 or something similar, retry a few times it will let you login or connect, just takes a couple of attempts but we will sort it out ASAP.
