Phishing attempt detected - BitDefender ?

Hello,

As soon as i connected my VPN BitDefender started showing/blocking active threat prevention alerts. In fact it blocked 147 of them! They all say this msg -

We blocked this phishing page for your protection: https://updates.torguard.biz/ Accessed by: TorGuardDesktopQt.exe Phishing pages attempt to obtain sensitive information such as login credentials or credit card details by disguising as trustworthy entities. The stolen data can be then used for financial gain.

I copy pasted that link to a browser to see where it leads me and the page looks sketch. Should I not worry about it?

Hello,

This is a false positive and we have already submitted this to BitDefender so hopefully they will update there definitions real soon - there is nothing fishy going on here, its nonsense to be quite frank - you need to whitelist the TG executable and the URL which is our update server that pulls config packages.
