OpenVPN on Chromebook (Asus C302)

Rate this question

Hey guys. I've had TorGuard setup for quite some time natively under L2TP-IPsec. Attempting to use OpenVPN under these instructions were not successful. Once finished, it connects rapidly and everything looks fine.. until I try to access anything. It just hangs.
I've tried to look up instructions but there doesn't seem to be much to show. This article from PCMag suggests it was possible but I've had no luck.

Would anyone be able to help?
