Port Forwarding not working

Question

Hi,

I've followed the FAQs and guides for setting up a port forward.

Ive tried it with OpenVPN, open connect

changing the port number

changing the Cipher from AES-128-CBC, AES-256-CBC, non-encrypted

changing from TCP to UDP connection

Everything that i've tried shows that the port is open through the manage your port fowarding, but when I try a test (https://www.yougetsignal.com/tools/open-ports/) the port is not open.

I've checked my firewalls and disabled all windows firewalls for both public and private connections.

I don't know what else to do to get the port open and working. Any ideas?

NullTotality

Open your console and run this netsh command as admin:

netsh interface portproxy add v4tov4 listenport=external_port listenaddress=0.0.0.0 connectport=internal_port connectaddress=127.0.0.1

You have to replace "external_port" and "internal_port" with the correct port numbers you're using.

Hey man, "NullTotality, I tried the command I'm using port 25565, so I used this command >netsh interface portproxy add v4tov4 listenport=25565 listenaddress=0.0.0.0 connectport=25565 connectaddress=127.0.0.1, did not help. I am having almost the same problem. Execpt when I turn of my firewall the port displays as open, while when it is on the is shows as closed. Without vpn it is open both with and without the firewall. Any tips, og anyway you or others can help me. I've been trying to find out how to fix this the last 20 hours.

Hey guys thanks for trying to help me, another guy helped a little. And after 30 hours with trying I found out it was java holding me back, java was not listed in the firewall as public and private.
