Android client crashes local cable modem

Rate this question

Question

teatime

When I use the TG Android client on local WiFi, it often crashes my cable modem. Internet is down until it restarts or reconnects to my ISP.

There's no problem when using mobile data on 4g (well, I have no way of knowing if it crashes hardware at the cell tower, they probably have redundancy :D).

Any way I can protect my modern from crashing all the time?

Hello,

What makes you think your modem crashes? it shouldn't - you may have some security enabled on your modem that doesn't like the VPN - i would try to disable any form of dos protection or even the firewall temporarily and retest so you can isolate the problem.

Regards
