Question

JonnyQ

If a user selects Cloudflare or Google DNS in the client, does TorGuard connect to their services via DNS over TLS or DNS over HTTPS? This would be a huge privacy feature for TorGuard users.

I was watching from this time of this video : https://youtu.be/Y72sajIbjYQ?t=880

which says to change to faster DNS. So I was wondering if I need to change all these three options to  Cloudflare?

Made the same inquiry via support ticket on 10/11/19 and five subsequent inquiries since then.  I have listed below the responses in chronological order:

1.  "coming very soon"

2. "by the end of November" [2019]

3.  "holiday held them [dev team] back"

4.  "very soon"

5.  [1/26/2020]  "we have no ETA...we know they [dev team] have this in mind but no promises"

This reminds me of two commonly used phrases, "the check is in the mail" and "don't hold your breath"
