Any way to make TLS handshakes work correctly?

Question

It doesn't matter how I connect to the Torguard service, sites that use TLS tend to fail. Either the HSTS check fails, or currently, while trying to use the OpenConnect instead of OpenVPN method, unable to verify certificates at all.

Yes, that's right, I can't so much as read a wikipedia page while connected to this service, without having to bypass security hoops.

Is there any way to make web sites work correctly? TLS is not going away, moreover, it's being forced.

Very well, the solution is going to be switching to a service that doesn't break protocols like this (most any other VPN service).
