Media Server Issue

Question

I have a media server on my home PC.  I have set up port forwarding and it works fine when my VPN is disconnected.  When I activate my Torguard VPN, I get page not found in my browser outside my network.  I point to my router's static IP address and this has always worked in the past whether VPN was turned on or off.  Now it only works with the VPN off.  The only change I'm aware of that was made was replacing my old PC with a newer one.  Is there a setting I'm missing in the VPN client?  I know in the past I never had to make any changes.

Thank you for your assistance.

Hello,

If the media server is behind the VPN then you would need to open that port by request through your account area dashboard  >> Management Actions >> Request Port Forward

Before making the request you would normally connect to the location you want and then visit here and enter this IP that it shows you, we would suggest doing some speed tests and finding the right server for you first.

Regards
