Very slow Speed with UDP

Rate this question

Question

Hey Guys, I'm experiencing very strange problems with my VPN.

When I set it up to UDP with no Cypher, I get only 6 Mbits Download (should be 30+) and my full 12Mbits Upload. Ping is stable and the connection show no sign of package losses.

I thought that UDP should be much faster then TCP, I'm wondering if my IPS provider checks UDP connections and slows them automatically?

Hi Steve,

We do occasionally come across users whos speeds dramatically increase when using TCP on certain ports, especially when using stunnel so it may be worth a try testing over different ports we offer with and without stunnel enabled, also try using openconnect.
