Guest
I am currently running Vuze 5.2.0.0 on a Win7 x64 machine, using the following setup: Host: proxy.torguard.tg Port: 1080 Username: [myusername] Password: [mypassword] However, everytime I try to test the connection, I get the following message: Testing SOCKS connection to proxy.torguard.tg:1080.......................................................... Connect timeout If I use any of the IP addresses in the members area, I get an authentication error: Testing SOCKS connection to 82.221.104.66:1080........... Proxy connect failed, SOCKS 5: authentication fails [status=1] How do I get around these errors in order to use Vuze with the torrent proxy? 0 Guest
I'm having this issue as well. I haven't touched any settings and all of a sudden I can no longer authenticate. If I try to go to the client area and change my password, I also receive an error that states "Password Change Failed!" Are you sure there's not some authentication issue going on? Question

I am currently running Vuze 5.2.0.0 on a Win7 x64 machine, using the following setup:
Host: proxy.torguard.tg
Port: 1080
Username: [myusername]
Password: [mypassword]
However, everytime I try to test the connection, I get the following message:
Testing SOCKS connection to proxy.torguard.tg:1080..........................................................
Connect timeout
If I use any of the IP addresses in the members area, I get an authentication error:
Testing SOCKS connection to 82.221.104.66:1080...........
Proxy connect failed, SOCKS 5: authentication fails [status=1]
How do I get around these errors in order to use Vuze with the torrent proxy?
