Hello,

This was fixed on strongswan a while ago: https://wiki.strongswan.org/issues/810

In regards to IKEv2 - have you tried to reinstall the app completely, remove all VPN profiles from settings --> VPN and retested?

So I only recently installed the app, yet per request I uninstalled and reinstalled and the problem persists on both an iPhone and iPad (on iOS 12). Mobile network or WiFi is not making a difference.

 

How about Cisco IPSec, is this doing the same?
