Hide number of devices?

Rate this question

Question

Hello,

Is it possible to hide number of devices I am using from the ISP? My ISP (university) allows only one device per user (cable connection). If I use VPN on dd-wrt router, will it hide MAC/IP addresses of devices behind the router, so ISP will see all traffic coming from one device (router)?

EDIT: As I am thinking about it, would not be sufficient to just use router with private IP pool?

Thank you for help.

Hi Martin

Its hard to say tbh - it depends on how they restrict devices - how do you connect tot his network, via Wifi ?

Regards
