Guest
Hello, I mainly use the Dutch TCP servers, and I have slow speeds when torrenting (600 kbytes/s w/o WPN and 120 kbytes/sec w/ VPN). Servers in Portugal, where P2P file-sharing is legal, would be a good thing, I think. Regards.

Support 249
Hey - Alexandre - have you tried UDP based connections ? Ibfree - how are you connecting VPN or Torrent proxy ? Regards
Guest
@Support : I switched to UDP, and download speeds have significantly increased. Thanks!
Guest
Hi, I have just upgraded to the VPN service. I am reaching about 800-1.2kbs on average. I have only used Sweden UPD so far with no issues. The speeds I am getting are comparable to what I was reaching with the proxy service as well. I have no additions as of yet and thoroughly pleased. I will update this post after some time goes by. Thanks!
Guest
With Torguard :http://www.speedtest.net/my-result/3169259438 Without Torguard : http://www.speedtest.net/my-result/3169267929 Not happy.. 2kms lag, cannot stay connected. Looks like i will be using that "30 day money back guarantee" cause this is quite useless to me.
Support 249
Hi Gentoo Have you tried around the servers ? i assume you know that each profile is multiple servers and each time you disconnect and reconnect you get a new server ? If you have tried around the servers i would suggest you open a support ticket referencing this thread and we will look into it. Regards
JeremyA 0
I mainly use the California servers - speeds are OK, but inconsistent. I would love to see servers in the US Northwest - Seattle please!

Guest
I have tried Netherlands and U.S. based connections. All seem to give me about the same. Support 249
Hey Tenacious Did you disconnect and reconnect, each time you do this you get a new server - is this via PPTP or OpenVPN ? Have you tested with Canada ? I would try the speedtest with speedtest.net Regards
Guest
Down speed without VPN is 25Mbps. Down speed with VPN is 2Mbps I'm using the Canada TCP server. I'm in the same area as the VPN server so lack shouldn't be an issue. Not sure what's going on. When I signed up a couple months ago, the speed was very good, but now it's terrible. Guest
Speeds are great over here. I mainly use the Netherlands server but occasionally I use Romania and Canada with similar results. When I am in a large torrent swarm for example when not connected, I get an average of 1.7mb per second download speed, compared to 1.5mb per second average download speed. So you can see, my speeds are almost the same connected to torguard's VPN as without. So yeah...speeds are great. As for general web surfing and what not, I have on occasion noticed a quarter second or sometimes a half second extra delay in loading certain webpages, but the average user probably wouldn't even notice. I would probably make sure your client is configured properly, unless you are on one of their stealth servers, I don't see any reason why you should see any problems with speed, in fact maybe their stealth servers are fast too, I haven't used them much so I can't comment on the speed of stealth servers. Guest
I've always found my speeds to be similar to yours Chris. I had both Eastlink cable and am on Bell fiber op and speed is about the same. Not that 2 mb is terrible, just a small bit of my 25 MBps pipe.
