  1. I have a server running with a small desktop (xfce) so that I can run some apps. Currently installed the torguard debian package and VPN is up and running. Now I would like to set torguard to run from 0200 to 0700 each day. Is there a way to do this or do I need to uninstall torguard and install openvpn? Figured this out... I am using the openvpn; following these instructions to create a conf file and pass.txt. From nickdr: https://www.reddit.com/r/linux4noobs/comments/22nts3/how_can_i_autoconnect_to_a_vpn_on_startup_with/ Then created two cron jobs. 1. to start the openvpn /etc/openvpn/server.conf at 0200 2. to 'killall openvpn' at 0700 Boom... done... then I changed scheduling on the other apps to only access the internet during that 5 hour period.
