  1. I am trying to configure my Synology DS212j to Torguard and have spent quite a bit of time looking for solutions to no avail. I basically want to mask my Download Station activity. This article below describes a very technical approach: https://torguard.net/blog/how-to-setup-synology-with-torguard-vpn-service/#comments I tried to do this , successfully connected, but am not able to edit the files. I don't have the base knowledge in command line to do this. There has to be an easier way... So I did some more research and found this: https://torguard.net/knowledgebase.php?action=displayarticle&id=155 Looks great but there are no PPTP servers to be found on the TG site Since this is an old entry, I assume PPTP servers don't exist anymore. Can someone please provide an easy solution to this? I don't care what protocol is used really. Whatever works. Thanks!
  2. So I see TorGuard now provides 'residential streaming IPs'. Sounds very promising. However, if I just need streaming, and because most browsing is now over TLS, I don't need any VPN encryption at all (which coincidentally is the bottleneck with 99% of routers). So ideally I'd pay for, say, an NYC residential IP address, and use my Ubiquity EdgeRouter-Lite (which is not speedy at all when used with OpenVPN and can't use hardware for L2TP encryption), so I'd get the maximum possible speed. My question: Is it possible to configure some sort of PPTP-client for TorGuard with no encryption whatsoever?
