  1. Hi, I have been having issues in forwarding my port. First of all, my system is as follows: Ubuntu 18.04 Torguard app v4.8.5 I have set up port forward request to forward port 8989, 61489, and 25565. I have also pinned a dedicated IP address for this. However, when I checked on https://www.canyouseeme.org/, it kept being declared as closed. I forwarded port 8989 and 61489 on my router to test. Without VPN, it is declared as open. Could you please help how to proceed from here?
  2. Hello, So here is my situation: I'm running a windows machine connected through an Android mobile hotspot and I'm attempting to play some games online. The issue with online gaming is it requires an active UPNP and/or some forwarded ports so the NAT Type switches from Strict to Moderate/Open. I have requested a port forwarding on a static IP address but I notice my NAT type is still unchanged. My questions: Is enabling UPNP possible through your service? Are there any extra steps I need to make in order to make sure my port forwarding is taken into account? Thank you and have a great day.

  4. Hi Wireguard is working perfectly on my end, but I haven't had any luck figuring out how to port forward yet. Anybody had any luck with this who'd like to share how they did it? I'm using the Windows client. Thanks!
  5. Thank you for taking the time to read this. I'm having difficulty forwarding the port for Emby. I have my Emby server running on Raspberry Pi 4 using the Retropie image. Everything runs great on my local network I have set up. I've set my WAN port on Emby to 8090 since 8096 is already in use in the TG IP. I test it by turning the Wifi off on my phone and trying the app and the browser using the WAN ip:port. It doesn't connect. The online port checker says the port is closed. Any help would be very much appreciated.

    iOS Port Help

I recently started with Torguard and I downloaded the app thinking that it would be able to provide me with port selection/forwarding for networks that block most ports. In this case, 80 and 443 were the only ones available on the network in question. I'd like to know if there's any way to work around this or if there's something I'm missing. I understand that apple has put in place some limitations, but certainly someone knows a way around this right? In short, I need to find a way to send my traffic through ports 80 or 443. Thanks for your help folks. Edit: I do have anyconnect on my device, but I'm currently stuck at what to do for setup to ensure I use one of those ports. Server Address etc Edit2: Good lord, okay now I have the Anyconnect running on the right server and port, but I'm getting passwords and usernames I never put in? I disabled certificates.
  7. Here's the setup: ISP Router > Main Router running DD-WRT v3.0 > LAN & a Webserver on port 81. All devices/computers have a static local IP. The VPN is working great on a Dedicated IP. All traffic is going through the VPN as intended. I have zero interest in bypassing the VPN. The problem is that I'm unable to connect to the webserver via the dedicated IP. I can access it fine on the LAN. I've tried Port Forwarding using DD-WRT's GUI as well as iptables in Administration > Commands > Firewall iptables -I FORWARD -i tun1 -p udp -d --dport 81 -j ACCEPT iptables -I FORWARD -i tun1 -p tcp -d --dport 81 -j ACCEPT iptables -t nat -I PREROUTING -i tun1 -p udp --dport 81 -j DNAT --to-destination iptables -t nat -I PREROUTING -i tun1 -p tcp --dport 81 -j DNAT --to-destination DD-WRT > Status > Bandwidth shows tun1 so I believe that is correct. I'm not sure what else could be wrong with the above code. UDP probably isn't even needed but I figured it can't hurt to include it for now. Any help would be appreciated.
  8. I'm trying to forward ports in Ubuntu 16.04. I was trying to edit the .ovpn file I used to import the settings to include something like this... iptables -I FORWARD -i tun0 -p udp -d --dport 51413 -j ACCEPT iptables -I FORWARD -i tun0 -p tcp -d --dport 51413 -j ACCEPT iptables -t nat -I PREROUTING -i tun0 -p tcp --dport 51413 -j DNAT --to-destination iptables -t nat -I PREROUTING -i tun0 -p udp --dport 51413 -j DNAT --to-destination Am I on the right track? Are there other commands I need to add? I was thinking that maybe I need to somehow use a command that forwards packets from enp3s0 to tun0? Is that how it works? I connect to the internet through enp3s0=>tun0=>VPN Server=>Internet? I'm really out of my depth here and I just don't have the time to research all of it. I have already been trying for 4 hours. Any help would be appreciated.
  9. So I've succeeded in getting my router to handle traffic through the VPN and assigned the static IP. I can't, however, seem to get anything to open up to the public. I've opened it up through my "port management" area, as well as set up traditional port forwarding through the router's GUI, and even the 4 commands shown in the knowledgebase. I'm out of ideas at this point. Anyone else have any?
  10. I have port forwarding working properly for several services, however SSH will not work. I've tried about everything I can, and it works properly when I turn VPN off (both on the local network and through my public IP remotely), but when VPN is on - I get a connection refused over the VPN IP, and a timeout on my non-VPN IP. Anyone have an idea?
  11. Hi! Maybe I'm getting rusty (probably ;p heh~)... but I please need some help with setting up port forwarding to Vuze, using a new Airport Extreme via a Mac (VPN/socks). For whatever reason, Vuze says that the routing is good, NAT is good but the connection is firewalled (could it be my ISP???). So here's my setup:... Mac: Connecting to VPN using L2PT in the Network control pane. PPP is setup to a manual-static, local IP address (was automatic before - behind NAT - both work). Proxies configured (with authentication): Web: port 6060 Secure web: 993 FTP: 443??? Socks: 1085 Vuze: Incoming TCP listen port: 6881 Incoming UDP listen port: 6881 Socks proxy port: 1085 HTTP seeding port: 6060 Airport Extreme: Network - Port settings: Public UDP ports: 6881 Public TCP ports: 6881 Private IP address: to manual-static, local IP address on Mac Private UDP ports: 6881 Private TCP ports: 6881 So... what am I doing wrong here xD ;p ???... something has to be off ;o . I used to be able to work this out a-ok ages ago on Transmission, but times have changed and have become more complex ;p . Also, I apologize if this question falls under what may be the wrong forum topic, but this could fall under several ;o ... so this one seems like the best of all ;p heh... Anyways, thank you so much in advance for any of your help - anywhere - anytime ^^ !!!~
