Sorry if this is a silly question but I can't find the answer anywhere. If you have a torrent client set to start on boot, and the torguard app (Raspberry Pi) lagged a few seconds behind it, would the torrent client be open to the original network for those few seconds? Does anyone know? Thanks!

10 warnings from ISP - is proxy disconnecting?
HideAndGoSeek posted a question in Proxy Questions and General Support
I've been running Torguard proxy for 5 years now. Initially I bought a VPN but decided I didn't want the whole house to suffer the performance (my wife often works from home) so I switched to a proxy. Another reason for the switch to a proxy was that I run a mail server on my desktop and even with help from Torguard Support, it would be complicated to use the VPN, such as installing DD-Wrt on my router, adding firewall rules, etc (if I understood it at the time). So, I switched to a proxy account. It wasn't until last year that I got my first copyright warning from my ISP, but then I got- 9 replies

OpenVPN Killswitch method for Raspberry Pi 3 (deluge)
nojohnny101 posted a topic in Member Tutorials
Hey everyone, This is my first post so please be kind. I waned to post a tutorial about how I got a kill switch system working on my raspberry pi using openvpn and connecting through TorGuard. For my purposes, this kill switch is customizable to kill any applications' connections to the internet if the VPN goes down for whatever reason. This method also attempts to reconnect to alternative servers and when connection is established again, it relaunches the application(s) you originally killed. I couldn't find a tutorial for a killswitch that was specific to raspberry pi and torguard. NOTE- 1 reply

How to create VPN Killswitch with Windows 7/8/10 Firewall Stop leaks when VPN disconnects. Introduction Having troubles with your VPN disconnecting and exposing your true IP address(es)? With the Windows firewall you can eliminate accidental leakage. What's the difference between TorGuards VPN Client killswitch and a Firewall killswitch? Simple, the client disables your main network interface, while the firewall simply blocks all traffic without disabling any network interface. The main problem with any third party application that disables your network adapter is when the VPN con

Hi, Long time consumer here. I had received a copyright strike & I did some testing & After me voluntarily choosing to disconnect torguard the killswitch set to my torrent client takes about 10 - 15 seconds to see that that killswitch terminates torrent client after disconnect. I have torguard version 0.3.77.

Auto enabling of disabled interfaces before connecting error
Marco posted a question in VPN Windows Support
So, in the TorGuard Windows client v0.3.78 I use the internet kill switch in the Network tab. I mainly connect via USB tethering and Wi-Fi so I have selected that two interfaces. And I have set "Enable disabled interfaces before connecting" to "yes" in the General tab. But everytime I try to connect a dialog box popup saying "One or more interfaces can not be activated properly. Please activate them manually before continuing." Up to this point the TorGuard tray icon remains red. When I click "OK" in the aforementioned dialog box the internet connects automatically without me havin -
I have been using the client software in Windows 10 for months now and have tried different software versions. I have always found the connection to the VPN servers to be unstable. This is why I enabled the killswitch so that torrent software would not be allowed to access my unprotected ISP network. Thursday night I was using the software and I was downloading a file that was going to take longer than I was willing to stay up to monitor. So I left it going overnight. In the morning I had an email from a movie company warning me to cease and desist. I checked my network connection an

I'm running torguard lite on Win 7. I have set up the killswitch for utorrent (utorrent.exe), which works when tested. It does not work when Torguard actually disconnects. Are there any known program incompatibility issues, etc which could be causing this? Seems strange that it works when tested but not when it actually disconnects... Cheers for taking the time to think about this.

One of Torguard's big sells for me was the killswitch scripts which were purportedly available for Linux. Unfortunately, these scripts will not run natively on a Linux machine. The steps involved for making .bat scripts run on Linux is beyond confusing. http://www.linux.org/threads/running-windows-batch-files-on-linux.7610/ Is there not some way for Torguard's programmers to build scripts for Linux? I hope so, because If not, I will be cancelling my subscription and requesting a refund.
