10 warnings from ISP - is proxy disconnecting?
HideAndGoSeek posted a question in Proxy Questions and General Support
I've been running Torguard proxy for 5 years now. Initially I bought a VPN but decided I didn't want the whole house to suffer the performance (my wife often works from home) so I switched to a proxy. Another reason for the switch to a proxy was that I run a mail server on my desktop and even with help from Torguard Support, it would be complicated to use the VPN, such as installing DD-Wrt on my router, adding firewall rules, etc (if I understood it at the time). So, I switched to a proxy account. It wasn't until last year that I got my first copyright warning from my ISP, but then I got- 9 replies

OpenVPN Killswitch method for Raspberry Pi 3 (deluge)
nojohnny101 posted a topic in Member Tutorials
Hey everyone, This is my first post so please be kind. I waned to post a tutorial about how I got a kill switch system working on my raspberry pi using openvpn and connecting through TorGuard. For my purposes, this kill switch is customizable to kill any applications' connections to the internet if the VPN goes down for whatever reason. This method also attempts to reconnect to alternative servers and when connection is established again, it relaunches the application(s) you originally killed. I couldn't find a tutorial for a killswitch that was specific to raspberry pi and torguard. NOTE- 1 reply

Torguard, Deluge Torrent & Router configuration
Switch posted a question in VPN Questions and General Support
Hello, I am struggling with my different configuration to get a decent download rate with torrents. I have followed the different guides and faqs provided by Torguard, but my dl speed rarely goes above 100ko/s (Without Torguard, I usual dl at 2Mb/s) On Deluge network settings, I have set port 50799 to be used On Proxy settings, I have selected SocksV5+Auth for each proxy, using host proxy.torguard.org and port 1090 On my physical router, I have set a route for port 50799 and 1090 (internal + external) on both protocol TCP & UDP to be redirected to the IP Address of my computer- 4 replies

Hi, I am trying to setup Deluge, following the guide https://torguard.net/knowledgebase.php?action=displayarticle&id=40 I am also testing with CheckMyTorrentIP http://torguard.net/checkmytorrentipaddress.php I get the message "Success, Your torrent client IP is: nnn.nnn.nnn.nnn" But the "Test Active Port" fails (Config -> Network -> Incoming Ports) and the main GUI gives me a "No incoming connections" and the torrent does not download. (tests have been performed with the firewall down) Any suggestions appreciated. Thank you.
