  1. I recently got fiber internet through my provider and I'm very excited to test its potential. The problem is that I've had nothing but trouble with my Torguard services since then. I tried buying a new ASUS AC66U router with an AC1900 repeater that helped with the range issues I've had, but it wasn't until I turned off the internal firewall in the ASUS router that I had any success consistently connecting to any proxy servers for my Firefox browser. This is happening on both my desktop and my laptop. Both have the latest version of Firefox (83.0 64 bit) and have the latest VPN Extension versio
  2. Has anyone ever managed to connect the open vpn client on an Asus DSL-AC88U router as no matter what I can't connect to the vpn. Having searched on Google I come across some Asus ovpn config files to download from the torguard website, won't connect & I've also tried the open vpn generator in the client area to create a config file but I noticed the option to choose Asus is no longer there so I tried using default & then openwrt (I know it's not AsusWRT but thought I'd try it anyway) , neither worked & the open vpn client on the router just will not connect. Edit : this
  3. I have an Asus RT-AC68u and the Merlin firmware. I am trying to access sites that restrict VPN use, and they are pretty good at detecting it. I am not very technically inclined, it was quite a challenge for me to flash this firmware, but I am lost on how to configure the router with the torguard servers, and which of the hundreds of settings I need to use to best mask the VPN use. Any thoughts / tips would be appreciated! -- I have followed the setup guide, but my VPN use is still detectable. I am not detected using stealth vpn when I connect, but the router setup guide has me detectable.
  4. I've just purchased an Asus RT AC87u and installed the latest Merlin firmaware. I've setup the VPN client on the router and I need my IPTV boxes to bypass the VPN. How can I do this? --Problem Solved. I played around with some settings. 1- In the router go to VPN, 2- Go to OpenVPN Clients Tab, 3- Find "Advanced Settings" 4- Set "Redirect Internet Traffic" to Policy Rules 5- Below that you'll see "Rules for routing client traffic through the tunnel". Under Source IP I chose my IPTV box's IP, left the "Destination IP" empty, set the "Iface" to Wan and clicked add and Apply. That's i
  5. I have a home computer that is using TorGuard VPN for torrenting. I am able to login and connect to a VPN server of my choosing. So I have no connection issues. I also have an ASUS RT-N66U wireless router, which the home computer I just mentioned is connected to. I have enabled the OpenVPN feature on the ASUS router so I can tunnel into my home network from work. At work I use an OpenVPN client to connect to my home network via the ASUS router, and use RealVNC to remote into my home computers, usually the one used for torrenting. My issue is since I began using TorGuard VPN, I c
