I signed up to the streaming bundle plan just over two weeks ago and I managed to get a streaming IP for USA but I also wanted one for Japan. When I requested a Japanese streaming IP, they were out of stock and support told me they'd have more in stock in a week. Two weeks have past and they are still out of stock. Does anyone from support know the exact date they'll be in stock?

TCP/UDP and Port 443? Streaming and just VPN
Zer0kewl posted a question in VPN Questions and General Support
Hello everyone, just got my VPN yesterday with streaming IP. My question is, when using the streaming IP it says to use TCP protocol and Port 443. But when not using the dedicated streaming IP, should I put it back to UDP and AUTO protocol? Or should I just leave it on TCP and 443 port for both streaming IP and regular vpn? -
My streaming IP was working fine till today. It completely cuts out my connection to the internet when I connect to it now. All other IP addresses on the service work fine including my Dedicated IP address. I have tried it in my iPad, iPhone and laptop computer (all the same). I have requested a new Streaming IP since I have paid for this service and it has stopped working. TorGuard support has been unable to help me, and has been ignoring my request. I have done all the steps they asked me to do and still the same. I will also contact my credit card company to request a refund for unmet services. If anybody else has similar issues with TorGuard, please let me know the outcome.

Currently I can't watch Netflix while using TorGuard. Other VPNs have found a way around this, is TorGuard working on one?

So I see TorGuard now provides 'residential streaming IPs'. Sounds very promising. However, if I just need streaming, and because most browsing is now over TLS, I don't need any VPN encryption at all (which coincidentally is the bottleneck with 99% of routers). So ideally I'd pay for, say, an NYC residential IP address, and use my Ubiquity EdgeRouter-Lite (which is not speedy at all when used with OpenVPN and can't use hardware for L2TP encryption), so I'd get the maximum possible speed. My question: Is it possible to configure some sort of PPTP-client for TorGuard with no encryption whatsoever?

Hi folks at TG, thus far I am pretty impressed and content with your service. And I tried a lot of VPN out there! Streaming is a big concern to me (and I suspect to a lot of others users as well). I live in central Europe and the majority of my stream are from the USA. Soon I will finally get a fiber line and want to continue with your service. At the moment (with VDSL) I only get around 5 to 10 Mbits bandwidth across the ocean. to slow for high res video content. I love your offer of streaming ip's / residents ip but I really want to use it when connecting to your 10gbit premium network. Would you please consider incorporating this? Or is this technically not doable? regards balexter

Enable or disable Windows File Sharing and Network Discovery
Jester posted a question in VPN Windows Support
A noob question- can we enable file sharing and network discovery, along with Torguard? This is for streaming media over at home, and printer sharing? Or does it have any risk with VPN?
