  1. Dear Fellow Privacy Enthusiasts, We hope everyone’s year is off to a safe start. If you’re not quite as protected as you’d like to be, we have some great news. You can now renew TorGuard for two years at 50% off and get a free Gli Wireguard mini VPN router plus a free $20 TorGuard gift card. This tiny powerhouse router never ceases to impress us. Take your privacy with you wherever you go or add a second secure VPN WiFi network at your home or office. If you are working remotely like many are, this router is small enough to fit in your laptop bag, yet powerful enough to run TorGuard VPN c

  2. Prob not the right way but it works for me. Exit torguard and delete current configs Create ~/.config/autostart/torguard.desktop If you do not want to authenticate every startup change this line Then make any other config changes you want.

  3. I experienced a frozen TG client issue with this update. If anyone else experiences the same, you can do this to fix it: Edit the torguard client configuration file: ~/.config/VPNetworkLLC/TorGuard.conf Search for "dns-manager-preference", set it to "linux_system_d" and start the client again. I am using dnsmasq and dnscrypt services on my machine, so it is possible that the problem occurred because of my configuration. It was working fine before with /etc/resolv.conf option but not anymore for me. I have not faced any other issue after fixing the configuration.

  4. Release torguard-v4.4.1, 2021-02-11 =================================== - All platforms: New QML GUI is available. The new GUI can be enabled from the Settings. Command line options "--enable-qml" and "--disable-qml" are also available. - All platforms: warning about legacy options "at application start" and "while establishing VPN connection" when setting static DNS. The previous options are obsolete and will be removed in the near future. We suggest to set them to "None" and use only the "when VPN is connected" option. - All

  5. @James8078 sorry for late reply and thanks for reporting. I am quite busy with life and work and could not find time to check this forum, hope you are well. If your issue is already resolved, then ignore following: as far as I can see, curl tries to resolve updates.torguard.biz and you get a reply that updates.torguard.biz can not be resolved as well as few uci not found commands. On my routers it still works and have no issues at, check if you changed something on your router which might have caused this. Would be good if you could create an issue on github as it makes it easie

  8. Depending on the Browser you are using you download the Torguard Browser extension , then hit the settings button inside the extension and insert the "streaming ip" into the add proxy section - then you connect to it. If you need help you can also open a support ticket and i am sure they would be happy to assist.

  9. === Release v1.59.5, 2021-02-09 - Fix "Verified!" link in some devices. Some users could have seen the "Query failed!" instead of "Verified!" string even if the VPN was correctly connected. The bug is fixed in this version. Download

  11. The RDP will not be able to maintain a connection if you do not setup port forwarding and Firewall and other settings properly such as the Default Gateway/route. You will need to google some guides and tinker for awhile. There are alot of different steps and i do not have a windows server right now so i have not the ability to go over them 1 by 1 and write them down for you but the main things you need to do i listed above once those things are setup properly it should work.

  12. This was already answered i believe in 2019 basically the exact same question. It was answered saying that dedicated IP's are not linked to billing accounts. However as seen in the link above posted by boopa from torrentfreak it seems torguard has stated that Dedicated IP's should only be used for their designated purpose only and it states dedicated ip's are linked to payment details so that seems contradictory i think it just translates into only use dedicated ip's for their intended safer* purpose and use non-dedicated for whatever else you intend to do. @Support Would need to clarify

  13. When I log into my client area I use a gmail email which links me to my payment method, which is fine. I've bought this product - Anonymous VPN - where a random string is my VPN login, which is logless, I understand this, when logged in, I choose a US streaming IP which is a static IP so I'm wondering how i'm anonymous as this static streaming IP is tied to my TG login? Say, for example, I'm doing something I don't want tracked, I'll use a movie download as an example, I download a copyrighted movie and the movie download site logs my static IP, which is obviously tied to my TG account, o

  19. While it would seem to make sense for them to publish what the fastest servers are, that may cause problems with everybody jumping on those said servers and then actually making them slower. Additionally, in my experience, the speeds can sometimes fluctuate anyways. Unless you have another need, just connect to your closest server and call it done.
